I really like the new Atari.

Its CEO has been on fire.

The Atari 50th Anniversary Collection is great. The Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story is interesting as hell from a historical perspective. Plus, its games are wacky and are presented in an easy way to play. As someone that loves Tempest 2000 this couldn't have been easier way to experience such a great game on newer consoles. I paid $30 for a download version of it and am quite happy with the purchase.

I'm going to look forward to the inevitable Intellivision collection. Well done, Atari, well done.

Notably they didn't want the Amico, haha. Can't exactly blame them. They probably got the brand for a steal thanks to that thing taking almost all value out of it.

Amazing, Buzz bombers special edition. I think the Critic is going to be in seventh heaven. It might be the new versions of the classic like Dynablaster and Astrosmash will now come to Atari VCS 800. Amazing to have some classics on that computer hybird.

Too bad that Shark! Shark! and Astrosmash got sold off before this happened. But at least the rest of the 1st party Intellivision library will stay together.

I want to see Thin Ice: Recharged appear in their line of successful remakes that they've been churning out in recent years.

Yes, this was indeed a shame... but I believe it was just these two games, right? Maybe they could be bought back somehow. Oh well, at least Feeding Frenzy was a pretty decent successor to Shark Shark already...

It's good to see this war finally come to a closure! I think it will be interesting to see what Atari does with this. I loved Intellivision as a kid (my buddy had one across the street while I had the Atari 2600). The sports games were amazing for the time and man did I love B-17 Bomber-nothing better than giving a little payback to the 3rd Reich! At the time, I thought the voice module add on was the coolest thing ever. Very cool news.

The war may be over but the scars will forever linger
