The thing that irritates me about Soda Popinski is that you can beat him to a pulp in the first round, knock him down twice, leave him with bruises, and not even let him land a punch, and he still comes out laughing at you in the second round? Dude!

Yeah that's the thing that always haunted me about Soda Popinski he can be easy one minute, than hard the next, and always laughs at you like a hyena, but getting knocked down/out is the one that always got me, it's like having salt rubbed in your wounds or having a bully knock you down at school.

Pleased to see Soda Popinski mentioned right away, as he definitely popped (pun intended) into my head as soon as I saw the thread title.

Another one that's burned into my brain is the creepy laughter in the Wolverine stages of Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge. SNES version only for that one, I think.
