I have been playing video games since I was a little kid. But I have always been plagued with certain inabilities. For example, I have never been able to get a handle on drifting in racing games. Parrying is another technique I constantly struggle with. Last but not least is stealth, mostly because I lack the patience for it. Overall, I will admit these are skills that I do not enjoy using and are a pet peeve of mine. Which understandably makes them much more difficult to master.

Quick time events. Hitting the buttons for a quick tap is easy enough. But it's when they want you to constantly mash a button as fast as you can sometimes for what seems like hours. My thumb can only move so fast. I've actually stopped playing a game I get so frustrated.

The parry mechanic gets me. I can't seem to figure out the timing of things. The same goes for when rhythm is required. That's just not my bag.

Patience, really. That's my biggest flaw. I cannot stand things like turn-based combat because it just takes so damn long.

I hate parrying too. It's fine if it's just one option out of several, like in Dark Souls, but when it's your primary means of defending yourself I'll usually get frustrated and give up in just a couple hours.

Bullet hells or too many objects = befuddled senses. I tried to complete Viewpoint not so long ago but ended up hard stuck on level 5. I suck at games where I have to dodge too many objects/projectiles. I also struggle with special moves and fighting games were never really my cup of tea as a consequence.

Drifting is definitely one I struggle with a lot but I've found it depends on the game and also on the controller used. I also really was never a fan of button prompts for combo moves, those just feel like putting my brain through a blender and I've always found it headache-inducing. Parrying and rolling/dashing in games like Devil May Cry/God of War are easier for me but they're also mechanics I was never a huge fan of, I prefer just getting out of the way via normal movement inputs.

Parrying as well. Like, I’m not sure a person can “learn” proper timing—you either get it or you don’t. Actually, that’s wrong….im sure you can, but I still struggle.
Agree with stealth….i understand how other might think it’s fun, but to me, it’s very stressful.

Stealth is either the best part of a game, or the worst. Nothing is more fun than systematically sneaking up on your enemies and taking them down without alerting the others (the Batman Arkham series has the best stealth ever imo) but nothing is less fun than crouch-walking up to someone and hoping they don't randomly decide to turn around (Skyrim, Far Cry, pretty much any other first person game besides Dishonored).

Parrying is a form of QTE, in my book.
Stealth I'm bad at, mostly due to lack of patience.
Also reflexes as I can't win at any 2D shooters.
