I'd kind of like to see the critic venture a little beyond his comfort zone. Maybe a nice long JRPG. Something like Octopath Traveler or maybe if that's too much of an undertaking for him, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake on Switch would be good.

It's a stealth-murder game where you stalk and kill teddybears, it's pretty crazy but I'm not sure it's good. And me not liking stealth doesn't help either.
It is fabulous. If the servers are still up, PM and we can play the MP. Remember, say BOO a lot.

Some Halloween suggestions:
Silent Hill 2 Remake (PS5): I'm not a huge fan of modern gaming but this game looks soooo amazing!!
Monster Force (GBA): A top-down action game where you control teen versions of Dracula, Frankenstein and Werewolf. Not great but entertaining.

Thanks- just watch some reviews and bought the PS1 version. I’ve never heard of this game- I don’t remember any ads or reviews for it in gaming mags back in the day, despite it looking memorable and being from a major developer. I figured it would be rare and super expensive, but surprisingly it’s not too bad.

Has anyone recommend Animal Well yet? It's a puzzle-focuses Metroidvania with retro pixelated graphics on pretty much all the current consoles. I played a little of it when it was on PS+. I didn't make it very far, but I could still tell it's a really well made game that the designer clearly put a ton of thought into. Just be aware, it's not a game with puzzles, it's a puzzle game. Figuring out where to go and what to do is part of the challenge, so don't go in expecting to be led around by the hand.

I am shocked the VGC has never reviewed the PS2 game The Hulk Ultimate Destruction. I am not a superhero guy at all but in the early 2000s I got this game. This was amazing to me you can basically destroy everything on the screen taking on tanks soldiers and baddies in the streets. The amount of mayhem you can do being a good guy trying to do the right thing is just astounding. It's always been a favorite of mine and I would give it an A rating. Critic you must check this out.

Re: Games you want the Critic to review
Back in the 90s my wife and I were huge Disney fans (I stress back then). Beauty And The Beast was our favorite of all and it's still my favorite animated film of all time along with Watership Down. Sega released two games on the Genesis for it. One for males and one for females. I played the male version obviously and she played the female version. Take a guess which ones they are. I thought it was a very cool combo for one movie coming out around the same time. I wouldn't call them winners but they were above average and we both enjoyed them. It would be fun to see the critic review the boy and girl versions of the games.
