The 128 bits game is an adventure, and I believe it is even a worse game.

I just ordered a copy from Ebay - thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to get it reviewed by Christmas!

Another winter video game could be The Chronicles of Narnia (PS2, GC, XBOX & GBA).

It has lots of snowy levels!!!

I've been playing Enter the Gungeon over the past few days, and I think the critic would get a kick out of it. It's a retro top down shooter roguelike where you shoot funny bullet-shaped "gundead" and pretty much every boss is either a pun (Ammoconda, Gorgun, Beholster) or a reference. Seriously, how many people today are even going to get the "Gatling Gull" joke? The layout of the rooms, what enemies you find in them, and what guns are available are all randomized for every run. There are so many guns that after playing for close to ten hours, I don't think I've seen any repeats. The game is hard too. I still haven't managed to get past level two. There's a physical disc, so hopefully the critic will take a look at it.

I know we are way past Halloween and probably preferring Christmas games at this time.

But I thought this FMV game, available on PC, PS5 and Xbox looked interesting: Dead reset.

It kind of sounds like the gameplay isn't much more than Plumbers don't wear ties, but with a plot that makes sense and the horror angle.

Here is the Steam page for the PC version:

World Driver Championship Nintendo 64 from the same company that made Stunt Racer 64.

Agreed. I also want the Critic to take a year off "regular" games so he can play and review nothing but racing games during that period. :P

I could have sworn that there was a Street Fighter 2010 review, but it looks like I imagined it. Please make it real!

I just became aware of Surf City on the CD-i, which is barely a game (apparently) but has tons of Beach Boys content and way more TLC put into it than you'd ever expect. All CD-i reviews are welcome, but that one looks like a fun choice for Summer 2026.
