Also interesting to note that a year later, 75% are still disappointed with the Xbox One.
If not more!

Is there any actual concrete proof that 75% are dissapointed, you said yourself not to blindly trust statistics.

You're the VGC, so you'll have to get an Xbox One sooner or later.[biggrin]

75% Disappointed with Xbox One Reveal

I am much more positive on the Xbox One than I was, but that isn't hard considering I hated most everything about it before. I truely think the system is no longer the Xbox One and is essentially, now, the Xbox 720.

Always online was horrid, but they wanted to include family wide owning, games being tied to your profile, and possibly digital resale. Your "one" profile across all Xboxes. That's pretty much gone (and good riddance because I didn't like the trade-offs).

They wanted to go all out as a multimedia machine. The "one" machine to control the living room. They basically don't want to talk about that anymore.

They wanted Kinect to be integral to the system, and for it to individually recognize your "one" unique identity and load your stuff automatically when it saw you in the room. Now you don't even need a Kinect.

If they had skipped all that and just made the next Xbox, they'd have had a Kinectless system that plays games and costs $399.

They ran all year just to stand still. I have the Xbox One on my list of things to buy. It's last on that list however. The other systems told me more interesting and appealing stories. I'm willing to be interested now though, which is better than it was.
