Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Ghostbusters, and Left 4 Dead are good games to play around Halloween.

Dave reviewed the Orange Box already. I don't know if he finished Half-Life 2
or not, but if he didn't already, he probably won't: he said that, for whatever
reason, he was becoming physically nauseous from playing the games on
that collection.

Why not just say "I didn't find Dark Souls to be a difficult game" instead? A lot of other
people clearly found it to be difficult (I haven't played it myself).

You've never reviewed Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth for the XBOX.

It's a great overlooked horror game for that system.

How about you review the atrocious, shameless Super Mario 64 clone called 40 Winks on the PlayStation? It's first hub world is a Halloween themed area. Granted, it's repetitive, as you keep whacking the same ghouls over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again. I want to see you review it because I'd love to hear you SLAM this game!

Another recommendation for the Halloween gaming:

Geist (GameCube)
Diablo III (PS3)

On Halloween night, there is nothing better than munching on your home made pumpkin seeds, drinking beer, watching the original 1978 Halloween film, and playing Halloween on the Atari 2600. Your only breaks are for the toilet and trick or treaters! I luv it!

Psychic Detective for 3DO is well worth playing, and is full of dark and ominous imagery, though it also has a sense of humor.  Just be sure to do absolutely nothing the first time you play (seriously).

I'd also like to see the VGC review the ridiculous, corny FPS Virtuoso (also for 3DO), which takes place in quote-unquote "virtual reality" environments that include a haunted house and Mars.

Echo Night is a great game but I fear Dave's review is going to put it in D-F territory.

Dave, I think you should try Echo Night: Beyond instead. It's the sequel on PS2 (actually the 3rd game in the series but the second was japan-only). It has great atmosphere, is scarier, much better graphics...I think you would be more into it.

I pulled down Psychic Detective off the shelf!  Along with Echo Night, I'm ready to start my Halloween gaming!

A game just arrived from GameFly and reminded me that it should be on this list: Lollipop Chainsaw
