My daughter gave me Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii and Super Smash Bros on the 3DS. I couldn't be happier.

I will try to post some thoughts after I get a chance to play around with it some more.

What did you get for Christmas?
Sorry I'm late to posting on this thread, but anyway, here are some gaming related gifts I received...
World of EA Sports pack for PC (includes all the 2004 EA Sports games other than FIFA and MVP Baseball)
3DS XL (by now I have Mario Kart 7 and Pokemon Y for it)
$50 Steam Card (all that I got with it so far is FTL)

Gaming-wise, I only bought myself an Intellivision Flashback unit. I was playing with it last night for a couple of hours - it's not bad.

Didn't really get anything specific gaming wise(mainly because with me having a job now I can pretty much buy any game I want), though I did get some gift cards for Best Buy and Amazon, which I used to buy some games.

Mostly I re-bought a bunch of games so I could play the DLC that I didn't check out the first time around(it was years after getting a 360 before I had a Gold Live membership, so I missed out on things like season passes), like Borderlands 1 and 2, Saints Row 2 and 3 and Dead Rising 2, also bought the Batman Arkham trilogy, figured it was about time I finally give those games a shot.

I don't have time to go into a bunch of detailed impressions, but I will say that I'm really liking the system a lot. It does seem like they have ironed out a lot of the earlier issues like the tight cartridge slots. Of course the games look great - I was particularly impressed with how sharp Gameboy games look - and I didn't even hate the stock controller as much as I thought I would.
Not sure if I would 100% recommend buying the system since $150 is a lot of money to spend, but I will say that if I didn't receive this as a gift and had to pay full price, I wouldn't have been disappointed.
