Cleaning video game equipment

Any tips for cleaning video game equipment? I'm primarily intersted in ways to keep controllers from becoming grimy after prolonged use by my sweaty hands.

You can just wipe a controller down with a wet rag. If something is really stuck on the controller, or if you want to get off a pesky price tag from used merchandise, use Goo-gone or Orange cleaner (or another goo cleaner, most of them come in a clear bottle and have a citrus smell). To clean games just use a Qtip and a little rubbing alcohol for a cartridge, and a disc doctor for discs.

I recommend rubbing alcohol for controllers.  It kills germs and drys quickly, minimizing any possible sticker damage.  For tight areas I use cotton swabs.

Oh, right, my bad. Don't use the goo gone on areas with stickers (the back of controllers). Also, if for some reason you can't get to some goo in the joystick, spin it around for a while and it should loosen its way out, it's what I do with the knobs on my amp. Just don't spin too hard on those delicate joysticks, especially the ones on N64 controllers.

I don't either, but I can tell you that it comes in a tall can. You can find it at an office supply store.

For controllers I am experimenting with "Wet Ones", a brand of antibacterial moist wipes that come in a little plastic container.  They definitely do the trick, and I think it's handier than getting out rags, moistening them, washing them, putting them away, etc.  Plus they are thin so you can get them in tiny crevices, which saves the Q-tip hassle.
