Can't get turbografx game to work, help!

Postby Ken1 » June 8th, 2014, 6:01 pm

I have Bloody Wolf for the Turbografx and I cannot get it to work. I have tried cleaning it several times. The start up screen comes on but as soon as I hit start it goes right back to the title screen. What can I do? Thanks in advance.

Honestly, it sounds like a defective hu card. Have you had any other problems with other games on the system? You cleaned it with Alcohol? Have you tried lightly using sandpaper in case the card has some grime on it that cleaning it hasn't removed? I've never really had a problem with any Hu Card after I cleaned the game.

Yes with very light sandpaper. Not with alcohol. I have had the game for a while and it has decided to not work. Plus I cannot download it from the Wii anymore either. The rest of my games work.

You might try isopropyl rubbing Alcohol 91% and apply lightly with a Q-Tip. It dries very quickly and I've never had any problems with my T16 games after using it. Honestly, other then that I'm not too sure. I'm definitely not miracle worker when it comes to fixing games. Anyone else have any ideas? Thankfully, the game is fairly cheap compared to other T16 games. A loose copy is about $20-25.

You can try Weiman Glass Cook Top cleaner to polish the contacts. You can find it in most supermarkets and sometimes it will bring a game back to life.
