Late night video game talk show idea!

I had a thought that a late night themed talk show think Jay Leno or Conan O'Brien, with video game characters might be pretty funny. Imagine Kratos from God of War or maybe Link from legend of Zelda appearing on such a show. Little Mac, Pauline from Donkey Kong, Dhalsim from Street Fighter, Dirk the Daring from Dragon's Lair. I mean the possibilities are just endless.

Actors would dress up like the characters and the characters personalities would often differ greatly from the characters they portray in their featured video games, not unlike movie stars. Kratos would be very mellow, Link would be a blabber mouth. I  picture it being featured on Youtube as a bi weekly series.

Now of course I only have an idea. I do not have the means to start such a show. Nor the money, talent, know how or anything else. Just an idea and a little imagination. So since I have planted the seed, somebody with the aforementioned means needs to get to work.  [wink]

Conan O'Brien does have an occurring segment on his show called The Clueless Gamer. Also, John Oliver's HBO show did do a segment on Nintendo's Tomadachi Life with animated Nintendo icons announcing their gay love for each other. During Conan's NBC Tonight Show run, the wall background, where he did the monologues, was acknowledged as similar-looking to Super Mario Bros.; one of those monologues, Super Mario Bros. was displayed on the background wall when Conan mentioned it. In addition, Jimmy Fallon does have video games shown on his show, but mainly around E3.

It's really cool to see video games referenced on these shows. Unfortunately, many famous talk-show hosts don't reference games all that much, despite increasing popularity, are still too niche for the mainstream.

Oh, I was not aware of that. Of course I rarely watch T.V.
