Games similar to Racing Gears Advance?

Hi everyone,

Racing Gears Advance is one of my favourite racing games, but I am getting tired of playing it on the small screen.  I would love to play a similar game on a home console.  (I know the Gameboy player is an option).

Are there any games similar to this one for consoles, either physical or download?

There are lots of overhead scrolling arcade racers.

If you want a nice, cheap, modern take on this concept on the big screen, perhaps the downloadable Motorstorm RC for the PS3/Vita is for you?
