Actually, I just watched that episode like 20 minutes ago. It's a great show. One of my favorites this season. For some reason I thought this series took place in the 70's until tonight's episode (obviously Zelda is in the 80's).

Being a huge sitcom fan, i'm famliar with quite a few of the ones from the 80s, though i've never heard of this show until now.

The show itself is new (this is only it's first season); it just happens
to be set in the 80s. It currently runs on ABC.
I'll have to check this out. My Mom is always bugging me to watch
this show anyway, but now I have a reason.

My wife and I have watched every episode of the Goldbergs except for this newest one. I don't know about anyone else, but I can relate to the show so much. It's exactly how the 80s were. And the line the mom uses-- "Well, if you really think that then I have failed as a mother!"-- is exactly what my mom used to say.
That's awesome the new episode talks about 80s gaming. And Zelda's still one of the best games of all time. I'm sure I'll love it. Thanks for the heads up.

The Goldburgs is a very good show.
When I first heard about it, I thought: "Ugh! 80s pandering!" ... but it ended up turning good!

When the older brother flopped down the copy of Zelda II, I said out loud,"its good, but don't expect it to be as good as the first one". My wife looked at me like I was crazy.

Did anyone see the episode last night? Very video game focused. Adam gets a power glove, and sees the Wizard. Lots of games/systems shown: Intellivision, Atari 2600, Duckhunt, etc.
Really funny episode!
