Come check it out! Or don't.

This was LoganRuckman's idea, so blame it on him if it sucks. [wink]

Interesting. So what are you gonna use it for, specifically? The best and worst of stuff?

Just writing about games, movies, and stuff. Maybe some reviews. Nothing too serious.

Hey, awesome, dude! I love it so far! I followed it. Just three suggestions for now, add an archive, make it easier to look up articles by category (maybe choose a design that has a sidebar), and add a search function. If you need any help, just let me know, and I'll try my best to help (sorry if I sound like a douche).

Well, it's in my sig, but my website is http://happykatana.wordpress.com Happy Katana isn't specifically about video games, but instead, pop culture in general. We do have a lot of video game themed articles though.

Thanks for the advice, Logan! You didn't sound douchey at all. I'm totally new to website design so any feedback is appreciated.

Okay, I forgot to mention it, but as you write more reviews and articles and whatnot, I'd suggest using the Read More Tag (the one that kind of looks like a road and is next to the unlink option). You can put it anywhere in a post, and what it does is creates a preview where you only read so far. If you click read more, it takes you to the full post. It's useful, as it makes it easier to scroll through the site and pick which article you want to read. It makes scrolling less of a hassle, and it also makes it easier to find an article, as it's pretty easy to skip one if you leave the full posts on the homepage.

Anyways, I love what your doing, and I'm going to spread the word so other people can hopefully find out about this awesome up and coming website.

@Greisha: I did, once upon a time. But most of those posts were made before I joined here, and considering my age.... to say the least it's an old shame.

Glad to see this tries to take a more objective,Ebert like approach, appreciating the subject for what it is.

So, what's your next post going to be about? Is this blog going to be only games, or pop culture in general? Either way, I'm excited for the future of your website.

Sorry I keep asking questions, but where did you get the name 80 Points?

Hey, I should let you know, don't get discouraged if your blog doesn't get popular over night. I mean, my site only got six views in the first year. Hell, at the end of 2012, it didn't even have 500 hits. It now has over 85,000. Believe me, if you stay dedicated to making a great site, people will eventually start noticing.

I wouldn't worry about it just yet since your blog is in its infancy, but as it gets bigger and you write more for it, try to develop a social media presence for it. Definitely get a Twitter, and also a Facebook.
