The Critic usually makes these, but I figured I'd jump the gun and make a seasonal gaming thread focused on everyone's favorite season!
Leaves are falling from the trees and you start to notice that particular smell in the air as the wind becomes colder and colder, whipping between alleys and wantonly scattering orange-hued foliage.
What are your best recommendations for autumn-themed games?
Skyrim is a perennial favorite of mine. Depending on what part of the world you're in, it can also be very appropriate for winter. Sometimes I don't really even "play" the game but just walk around, listen to the amazing music, and take in the atmosphere. I strongly recommend playing this game on PC as the visual experience on that platform is substantially better. I'm crossing my fingers for a surprise next-gen re-release of the Legendary Edition.

Fall Games 2014
Good topic. I was going to advertise my Fall Seasonal Special but at five years old it's looking a little dated.
Maybe you guys can help me spruce it up a little by adding/replacing some of the current reviews. Skyrim sounds like a candidate.
What games do you feel embody the spirit of fall?

Fall Games 2014
Fall is tough in that September seems like summer and kicks off american football season, October is focused on halloween scares, and by December we are thinking snow and the holidays. Which gives us November, dominated by thanksgiving in the US.
So, since the first Thanksgiving was 1623, I propose a 17th century theme. Sure, native americans and colonials, but add in the Golden Age of piracy, shaolin monks in china, english civil ear, Salem witch trials, dutch east india company, musketeers, the thirty years war, Newton, Galileo, Cervantes Don Quixote, etc.
How about these:
Turok Dinosaur Hunter on N64
Uncharted Waters on Genesis
Chakan the Forever Pilgrim on Genesis
Escape from Monkey Island on PS2
Kung Fu Master on NES
Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks on PS2
Edit: removed colon/emoticon from Turok

Add Assassin's Creed 3 to that. There seems to be a lot of nice fall scenery in it.
