I imagine this person is a lurker who likes to be able to do things like see which posts are new, so (s)he has an account, but doesn't post with it.

I brought this up a few months ago to the mods.  I wasn't sure what to make of him either.  The combination of the name and the silence made me suspicious, but as it wasn't suspicious enough to raise red flags there, I just let it go.  I'm still wondering exactly what he was up to.

The mysterious Trololo... I'm glad somebody finally asked, because I've wondered the same thing for a long time and almost started the same topic myself recently out of my own curiosity. Trololo was literally online 24/7, 365 days a year for as far back as I can remember. Maybe even going back to July 2013 when he first registered.  To me, staying online like that goes beyond your normal "I never log off" material.  A lot of us don't log out, but our names eventually disappear from the logged-on list.  I also can't imagine that he's literally on the forums nonstop.  So I'd guess it was some sort of glitch that caused him to be perpetually logged on (either on his end or the forum end), even though he probably hasn't visited the forum in forever.  I'd also guess a mod or something fixed the issue, since he suddenly disappeared from the logged-in list when this topic was created on May 24 and, according to his profile, hasn't been logged in since.  Or maybe the boards are just haunted.

Speaking of mystery members, our 500th, 2xthetap, came in, made several posts, and now the posts are all gone.  He may have just deleted them, but member count is 499, and I cannot find him in the member search.   Maybe he was Trololo in a Groucho disguise...

I think 2x was Steephen(who I haven't seen a post from in a long time) as both profiles had the exact same age as one another.

This is just a hunch, but Stephen's latest in a long list of aliases, "weallmissedme", doesn't even show up anymore in the member listings. So I suspect that perhaps explains this 2xthetap character's appearance.
