The Game Boy (Original) Review Request Thread

Postby LoganRuckman1 » January 14th, 2015, 3:16 am

The title says it all. Here are some of my requests.

Super Mario Land- Yeah, probably the weakest GB Mario, but still a lot of fun.

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins- One of my favorite Mario platformers period, with a ton of cool power ups, awesome level design, great graphics, and a killer soundtrack. Also, this is the game that introduced the world to Wario.

Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3- The very first Wario game, at the time, this was an amazing and unique platformer with a heavier emphasis on action than the Mario platformers.

Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow- It's criminal that none of the main series Pokemon games have been reviewed on this site! You truly grow a bond with your Pokemon, it has probably the best 8-Bit soundtrack of all time, and the strength/weakness mechanics add a deep layer of strategy. As the first gen games, this is the perfect introduction to the now legendary franchise, and would be perfect for the RPG Critic to review as his first GB game.

Tetris is absolutely essential. It's a game that was made for the GB, and to this day, it's still the most legendary version.

The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening is a masterpiece, easily as good as the console games, and some would argue better.
