Site Suggestion : Add a poll option

It might be nice to have a poll on topics, seems like these boards get a little repetitive, some posters never really participate, probably because a lot of other posters are always posting the same things in every topic, and not really posting on topic, they have to get 'a dig' at another user.

I do not target anyone here, when you see an opinion of mine, it is on topic and pertains to something in the game industry, I do not flame users based on what they happen to like. I will criticize games and systems though.

I wish all would do the same.

Anyway, a poll option, could lead to interesating discussion and could give lurkers and passive users an easier way to contribute to the boards.

I don't see how a poll could lead to interesting discussions, yet wouldn't rule it out completely. Could you elaborate and explain how it would improve the boards? Some people may not participate all that much, just doesn't seem like the best way to improve discussions in general.

It's not a bad idea.  I will consider it.  If people have ideas for poll questions I'd like to hear.
