I personally don't use Facebook, but here are some of the people I follow on Twitter:

Mariel Cartwright ( https://twitter.com/kinucakes ) Artist/Leader Animator on Skullgirls. Posts lots of sketches and work-in-progress.

Jenova Chen ( https://twitter.com/JenovaChen ) - Founder of thatgamecompany, makers of Journey, Flower and Flow

Paul Robertson ( https://twitter.com/probzz ) - Renowned pixel artist and animator; worked on Scott Pilgrim The Game and Mercenary Kings, along with tons of Game Boy Advance titles. Posts a lot of personal artwork and work-in-progress stuff from games.

Edmund McMillenn ( https://twitter.com/EdmundMcMillenn ) - Maker of Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac, among other things

Tim Schafer ( https://twitter.com/TimOfLegend ) - Founder of Double Fine Games (Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, Broken Age) and former Lucas Arts employee (Grim Fandango, Full Throttle)

Seanbaby ( https://twitter.com/Seanbabydotcom ) - Former EGM writer, former host of Broken Pixels, maker of Calulords, all-round funny guy

Hideo Kojima ( https://twitter.com/HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN ) - Maker of Metal Gear, Zone of the Enders and Snatcher. Posts tons of stuff about movies (not surprising) and food, along with some Metal Gear Solid cosplay.

I also follow various speedrunners and people from the fighting game community. Who do you follow?

Well, most reviewers aren't really reviewers, and are made for comedy. There are good attempts (Nice and Games, Classic Game Room, Jontron) and bad attempts (The Awful Video Game nerd!). So I don't really "follow" them. So, there's really only one I follow. That would be ReviewTechUSA. People can slam him all they want, but reviewtech is awesome!

The Retronauts podcast is a mainstay of mine. So good.

I don't think this counts but I constantly study gaming on the Ultimateconsoledatabase, its creator Hawanja is a funny dude and pretty serious with gaming. His review format is one of the best IMO.

weallmissedme-Strongly disagree, love the Nerd and can't wait to see his movie this year, I also love people like those in the Chaos Theatre on Youtube(I.E. Rabbidluigi, Joshscorcher) and Caddicarus.

Never really liked Seanbaby much honestly, I just find him aggressively unfunny(his Cracked articles are subpar to say the least) and never thought he was much of a reviewer.

That sounded like e-whore behavior to me.

Caddy and Jontron are some of my favorite YouTubers right now. It's always good to see someone doing something different with reviews like they are.

Mostly the IGN podcast crews. The entire crew from Nintendo Voice chat there is especially good (If you like Nintendo you really should follow them and listen to that podcast).

I imagine he makes a lot less than some other Youtubers, such as the abysmal Pewdiepie and the barrel-scraping Game Grumps. The fact that he has been providing free entertainment to his viewers for many years means that it seems rather unfair to begrudge him some assistance for the movie.

Anyway, I consider Game Sack to be the best Youtube gaming channel by a huge distance.

He makes money off YouTube ads, website ads, stuff with SpikeTV, ScrewAttack, merchandise, etc. If he can't finance a movie himself, then he's just an irresponsible spender.

"Free entertainment" - just because you don't have to pay to see it doesn't mean there isn't a cost.
