http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/22073/article/watch-dogs-on-xbox-360-objects-in-distance-look-like-they-are-from-a-ps2-game/

Now, I'm not posting this to agree, but rather disagree. With the amount of hate this gets, that is. The one thing it focuses on is the tree, how it looks bad from a distance, but blooms up close. And how few NPC's there are.

Fact is, the game will play the same. Will it be scaled down in content? Yes, yes it will. Will it play mostly the same? I'd say yes. The game will remain (mostly) untouched.

People should realize, the Xbox 360 has a small amount of RAM. In fact, I don't even think netbooks are made with 512 MB of RAM anymore. That tree can't be fully loaded in. And the textures can't be at a large resolution.

And all this over that downgrade fiasco. What downgrade? From a developer kit? From the PC version shown at 2012? It wasn't a final product, it may look different!

What are your thoughts on the artice? Should people be upset over this or not?

Yeah I think those guys are REALLY exaggerating, I wouldn't call it "PS2 quality" at all, it looks just fine to me.

Also while the 360 system itself only has 512 MB, you can attach external hard-drives to increase it's storage capacity to as high as 250 GB.

Well, it appears this is the version I'll be enjoying.

I know, I'll be playing the same game as everyone else, but you can't deny how fantastic that looks!

At this point it's simply amazing that they're able to squeeze enough juice out of a 9 year old PowerPC platform with only 512MB of RAM to produce an experience virtually equivalent to that of the new consoles. The twilight years of PS360 are turning out to be one of the best of any console generation.

Gentlegamer-Um no i'm not joking, I was just mentioning the external hard drives because of some 360 games using installation downloads in order to increase the performance of certain games(I.E. GTA V, COD Ghosts).

Well, I will be at Gamestop Monday night to get mine at the midnight release for the PS4. I had this paid for as a launch title for the system. This game better be good for all the hype it is getting. I am anticipating at least a 85 Metacritic score so it better deliver

darkrage, you said the system only had 512 MB. I was talking about RAM, not Hard disk space.
