I think what Gentlegamer means is that adding external memory does nothing to change the system's inherent bottleneck of 512 megs of RAM.

Lots of people make that mistake. The 360 Arcade came with 512MB flash memory at one point, so that might explain your confusion. It had 512MB storage AND 512MB RAM.

Yeah, and the Arcade happens to be the model I currently own, so that's where my confusion came from.
