Who the hell is Anita Sarkeesian? Another random person putting their random opinion out on the YouTube?
Someone who's upset over not getting invited to the prom, so she fights sexism while being ultimately intolerant all at the same time.

Yikes!! There are few things on the VGC forum to get people hurling mud and drawing lines in the sand than politics. And yes, this is a political issue, especially since there are so few women themselves who believe they are oppressed in the united states in 2014. Anita is trying to convince them that they are victims as with most things, the vocal minority is very very loud. But as much as I don't care for her "women are the eternal victim" hyperbole, she's just as much entitled to her opinion as I am.

This is the third time you've tried posting the "game narrative is evil" - knock it off

Honestly, I don't mind the feminist movement in gaming, as well as other media formats; if you look at the history of older media such as music, movies, and even comics, political agendas and issues have always been addressed throughout every generation. I especially don't mind it as long as gameplay isn't affected, which it hasn't. Besides, even though we are much better off than a few decades ago, women, LGBT people, as well as religious and racial minorities still get the brunt end of the stick in modern society. Like I said, as long as gamers still play their games, I don't see much legit arguments being made against people like Anita. Even though I'm somewhat apathetic about the issue as I prefer gaming as a non-serious media format, I think it wouldn't hurt for developers to jump on the diversity issues; the more the merrier I say.

The only issue I have, however, is exaggerating how these games are, with Hitman Absolution being Anita's most inaccurate game portrayal.
