Male comedians also lump all women together, what's your point?[/QUOTE]
Whining aside, if a woman gets to make fun of a man, a man can make fun of a woman. There, it's not sexist, no one's off limits.Feminist Frequency

Men tend to behave differently when competing with other men. I think we've all gotten used to acting very obnoxious when playing games with friends. Let's face it, some good-natured trash talking brings out the competitive juices. We want to egg on our friends to increase the challenge and up the stakes.
In fact, my friends hate it when someone brings their girlfriend or wife to a game night, because it really takes the edge off the competition. In fact, it changes the whole dynamic.
I don't think women understand this "macho" culture. Women prefer to empathize with each other. When they are verbally attacked they take it personal and get upset.
Just a theory...

Personally I find macho attitudes incredibly annoying and I do not find trash-talking at all amusing, I would much rather hang out with women then with other men, call me old-fashioned but I hate it when people act obnoxious. I don't think it has anything with people taking it personally, sometimes it's perfectly reasonable to get upset at how a certain character is written.
The problem is with many people trash-talking can go over the line really fast when guys start using gay slurs as insults and things like that.

Gay bullying certainly isn't alright, but my friends and I will all refer to ourselves as those slurs because they've been used against us and we're not oversensitive to consider certain words off limits for no reason.
It seems like all you're doing is listing off what offends you like that matters. This isn't a thread about what offenders Vexer, this is a thread about Anita Sarkeesian lying and manipulating the trust of gamers and where women really are in gaming.

Well this also isn't a thread about Pacguy19 making excuses about how it's OK to use offensive homophobic slurs, just cause a person does not like offensive slurs does not automatically mean they are oversensitive, it means they know how not to be rude.
Anita isn't lying or manipulating anyone's trust, that sounds more like what you're doing right now.

I've been called those offensive things. I can handle it. I can use the word because it's just a word. Does using this word kill small children every time it's uttered? No. It does nothing to you.
Being oversensitive about everything will kill us all. Realize it's just a word and move on. Either everyone should be able to use it or no one should.
This thread really isn't about gay slurs, not sure if you noticed.
