Mega Man collection (xbox). It's an incredible deal and the emulation is quite good.
Just curious, but how do these collections handle things like 'beating the game' and high scores? One thing I think compilations should have going for them is they can turn arcade games into more of a 'game' by distributing a certain amount of 'credits' to beat the game. This instead of, say, just only getting one coin - or unlimited coins by mashing on buttons - like MAME or something.

If its just a one coin hit button to get more thing going on, I really don't know what would separate then from MAME in that case.
It seems as though most compilations either let you set continues to "zero" or "unlimited", though some, like Metal Slug Anthology on the PS2, will let you set a limited amount.  I do wish more of these collections would let you do that, but then again, is it really that hard to limit yourself to, say, 3 or 5 continues, even if you're given an unlimited amount?

And, yeah, if you are willing to use MAME, I suppose you wouldn't have to bother with any of these collections, though I guess they do have extras, like interviews and trivia, that you won't find on MAME.  Personally, I'm not real big on playing games on my PC, so I really like having these compilations in my collection.
