Have you ever discovered a game you really liked (or didn't like) in a weird way? I remember I found out about Kingdom Hearts by a little 30 second commercial on a Reign of Fire dvd my parents rented for me when I was a kid. I thought that commercial was so awesome that I would just sit on the couch and play it over and over again, without even watching the movie. Finally, I asked my parents if I could buy it, they said yes, and it proceeded to blow everything I knew about video games out of the water.
PS. It was the "You never know who you'll run into next" trailer. I tried to look it upon YouTube to show you, but couldn't find it.

I remember seeing a preview for the game Croc on the home video release for Home Alone 3 when I was a kid, the game looked pretty cool, though it would be many years before I finally got the game on PC.

I've played demos before but I've only come across one game that actually had the demo built into the main game- Halo for the original Xbox. The demo was of Fusion Frenzy and I had such a blast with the game I ended up buying it. The problem was that the demo had all the good minigames in it so when I saw the same minigames being done over and over again, I was really disappointed.
