Things only a gamer can take seriously?

What are some things that we, as gamers, love, but other people would laugh at? Here's mine:
Mickey Mouse fights like Yoda with a white and gold key-sword as tall as he is.

Getting platinum trophies.
Also, making things explode. Or graphic violence in general. I laugh at that too, though.

I work really, really hard to repay a mortgage to a raccoon, because then I'll be able to remortgage with him so I can finally have a room to put all my super hero costumes in. (That's Animal Crossing in case anyone thinks I'm having a psychotic break).
In Etrian Odyssey I spend 20 minutes walking in circles and pressing a button over and over again so I can eventually get the right to make one number on one screen go from 2 to 3.
