Sony B+
Good looking games announced. Exclusives are a ways off, but they still have a great lineup coming. Press conference dragged a little bit. Shenmue, Last Guardian, and FFVII remake announced at one conference was pretty cool.
Nintendo D
This is if we are only rating the conferences (sorry it is ranty). The Nintendo World Championships were endearing, and announcements then and in the previous early Direct would have made a better conference than the Digital Event did. The Digital event/conference had no news in it, it ended as if it were setting up a Mario game announcement and instead announced a social media marketing campaign to celebrate 30 years of Mario. It did nothing to make a Wii U owner such as myself excited beyond this year (and they had to be asked to clarify about Zelda). The Metroid spin-off can be announced somewhere, but your E3 conference is not the place (considering how many people were hoping they would announce a new Metroid Prime there), and makes it very "punch in the guts." It was pretty tone deaf when you look at it. Fans wanted a new Metroid Prime for Wii U. They announce a new Metroid Prime (and it's a handheld multiplayer cutesy shooter), they tease a 30 year of Mario announcement knowing fans want Galaxy 3 or something, and it's a hashtag, they did have fun announcements (Ryu in Smash, Earthbound Origins) and they announced it before the event to make the event boring, and they have a Fatal Frame coming over, and don't even mention it.
Microsoft A++
Second best conference I have ever seen. Very little filler. All games. Great new IPs shown. Solid indie spotlighting. Most of their games are in the next 365 days. Backwards compatability patched in (one of the best consumer facing announcements ever at these things). Amazing Oculus partnership means they win the VR fight with Sony (however big a market that ends up being) without having to do anything at all. Incredible Hololens demonstrations makes it show as well to gamers as it already did to tech media. Just a fantastic conference. If they can keep EA far, far away from their next one, they may have a perfect one.
E3 time!
