Have you tried searching for game reviews for old second generation systems ? There are very few sites around especially for systems like the Channel F, Astrocade, etc.
VGC Atari 5200 reviews are what brought me to the site in the early days and I firmly believe no other site has as many game reviews from this illustrious era in gaming.
Keep up the great work Critic !
I'm not sure how many systems the critic doesn't have from this generation that he could add ?
North American is the APF M1000 and RCA Studio 2. The Sega SG-1000 from Japan, Interton 4000 from Europe. Will have to visit the Video Game Console Library website. That is if the Critic wants to pursue the 2nd generations more obscure and/or other region systems.
Regarding the SG-1000 you can actually play the games on your Master System using the Master EverDrive (they won't work on a Genesis Everdrive something to do with the graphics).
Video Game Critic - Still the go to site for second generation game reviews.

Re: Video Game Critic - Still the go to site for second generation game reviews.
Yeah, I was looking into buying a 2600 many years ago and that is how I stumbled across this site. I think it is one of the first few searches on Google for a lot of retro console reviews. I really like how consistent the VGC has been with his reviews over the years. A few a week, every week, every month, every year. Compared to other home run sites, where there can be months or years between updates, the VGC is always on his game (at least since I've been visiting for the last 10 or so years). It's a great site and with all the complaints I don't think the VGC hears this enough. Thanks for everything you do!
