When it comes to new video games coming out, do you value them being fun, or being different? Obviously, everyone wants their video games to be fun. But, are you okay with them being fun if they're exactly like the previous games? Or do you want them to implement new things into the game, which MIGHT be fun, but might also flop and make the game LESS fun?
Personally, as I've said numerous times before, a gripping narrative is what makes or breaks a game for me. I think so long as the story kept progressing, I would be just fine with my favorite game series never evolving beyond what the first game introduced. That is, of course, assuming that the first game worked right and wasn't broken.
Do you value "Fun" or "New"?

Fun comes first, new is the eventuality, as such I can embrace something that thinks outside the box if its fun.
Which is really why I'm not loyal to any one platform.

Definitely fun. Being new or innovative is cool but if the game isn't fun, what's the point? I do own a few games that are more cool from an innovative perspective (not really that much fun) but 99% of the time, the game has got to be fun.
