Good points everyone. I knew this generation was online dependent & that's a big reason why I still don't have one. When fallout 4 comes out I'll probably get a PS4 or Xbox One, just to be able to play that game.

I'm like the Critic with his opinions on this, but am even more extreme. I have zero desire to play online multiplayer. I'll never buy digital or dlc. The only reason I can think to go online is to get the game patched since we all know it's too much to ask for the game to function properly out of the case. The Critic may ultimately decide that he should just stay online for reasons mentioned, but I'm not sure I'll have to.

Now my internet connection has been restored, the Bone is great again. Funny that. Offline the console is terrible. Online it is great and possible the best console I have had.

I like the ps4 I just do not like its peripherals.

I'm with you. I wanted to watch Netflix in my game room while I did some cleaning. I connected my ps3 to the interwebs and of course I was forced in to an update before I could turn on Netflix, which took about 10 minutes. Then when I finally got Netflix started that required an update as well, which took another 5 minutes.

All of that to watch Halloween 6.
