Black Friday deals..
Glanced at Gamestop-nothing really stood out. Target has a two for one on games. Anybody see anything so far worth a look?

Re: Black Friday deals..
Black Friday is pretty much a joke anymore. Have there been any good gaming doorbusters in the last decade? Some place have bundles but the savings is usually nominal at best. Target does the 2for1 multiple times throughout the year, as does TRU, so thats not even that big of a deal.

Re: Black Friday deals..
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas HD for the Xbox 360 caught my eye for $8 at Wal-Mart, primarily since I hadn't even realized that this recent download had gotten a retail release until I saw it in the ad.
I also was surprised to see the first three GTA releases on the PS2 advertised in Wal-Mart's ad. Almost certainly will be the last presence that this 15 year old console ever has in a Black Friday ad anywhere.
The only thing there that caught my attention was Gran Turismo 6 new for $5. The $15 that it usually seems to go for at retail these days was the price point that I've been waiting for, but happily, I hadn't yet picked it up so I ended up getting it for 1/3 of its typical price. If it's still in stock at GameStop's website and anyone is a fan of this series and owns a PS3, $5 is hard to beat.
Beats their usual ads where I see nothing appealing each year. Much of it at GameStop in fact just seems to be normal everyday prices in their Black Friday ad, rather than actually representing a discount. If I had bought a new console though, it would've been here thanks to their policy of mandating retail games in lieu of the typical digital download that you'll be stuck with elsewhere.
I also bought the Atari Flashback 6 at Dollar General for $30 for another Black Friday purchase, although both were actually bought on Thanksgiving Day rather than today.
