I beat NES "Ninja Gaiden III" today

On a real NES, no cheats. I'm a Ninja Gaiden die-hard who wanted to know the meaning of pain. I've finally beaten all three games.

And if the Critic thinks that acts 2 and 3 are too hard, act 7 is a living nightmare that makes those look like the first level of Super Mario. Not only are there a lot of tough enemies, there's a bunch of tricky platforming, and no health refill before the final bosses.

Damn... Nice job! I suck at even the first Ninja Gaiden. It must have taken a lot of memorization to beat NG3. Really impressive.

I am seriously in awe. I also consider myself a bit of a Gaiden junky who listens to techno remixes of NG songs in my car while I drive to work. But I despise the third one because of what I consider to be insulting difficulty. "Pissed me off at the company" difficulty. "I demand an explanation!" difficulty. I seldom get more than an hour in before I just abandon the whole thing in anger. Good form.

Haha. Those speedrunners are insane. There's another guy who beats Ninja Gaiden III in 18 minutes with just the sword no powerups.

You should try the original Famicom version if possible. It's far less difficult and has infinite continues and passwords. The Critic would probably give that version an 'A.'
