What did you think of the year that was, 2015?
The eighth generation is now in full swing, and the seventh seems to be fading into the rearview mirror.
What do you think are the games of the year?
Any big high profile games that fizzled?
Was it a good year for gaming? A bad year? A so-so year?
For Nintendo, despite several good titles, the loss of their president, that no one cares if the 3DS is 'New' or not, choosing to tussle with Let's Players on YouTube, and the continuing disappointment of the Wii U makes this a year to put behind them as quickly as possible.

Yeah, 2015 was somewhat of a disappointment as a lifelong Nintendo fan despite some games that looked good. Especially considering the awesome year they had in 2014. I think Ninty will start to pick up steam again next year when Zelda U comes out, and if the NX comes out in 2017 like I think it will, it'll get even better. I always have high hopes for new Nintendo systems. Perhaps foolishly sometimes, but my love of Nintendo always gets me hopeful.
As for Sony and Microsoft, I feel like the PS4 and XBONE are finally worth owning. Though I'd rather get a PS4, the XBONE has really surprised me the most with its near complete turnaround since its disastrous unveiling.
2016 will be a great year for me regardless of how good the games are, as I will FINALLY be getting a Wii U after years of wanting one badly when I get my income tax.

I thought it was a great year for the ps4 and Xbox and a bad one for Nintendo. I think my favorite part about this year is what's going on now. I went to game stop last week and noticed how cheap ps3 and 360 games are getting. I'll probably start picking up a lot of used titles over the next year or so.

I thought it was lame. Basically every game that was hyped (Arkham Knight, Dying Light, etc.) just wasn't much fun. Honestly, the most fun game of the year for me was Grim Fandango remastered!

I thought it was a disappointing year.
I didn't get any new disc games for the PS4. I only downloaded 2 games (double Dragon, beach buggy). Also non of the PlayStation plus games interest me (although I really wanted too like the racing football game one).
The Wii U continues to be an awesome console even though there wasn't many games that really won me over except for Yoshi Wolly Work.
I may sell my 3DS if I don't find any games I want.
I did discover the Atari 8-bit games though this year and they are great.
