Face it, the Flashback from Atari is the closest (and most realistic) we've been to a "truly new" Retro Console. Everything else is a Famiclone attempting to mimic what they cannot.
Scams like this are why nobody chases the dream anymore. We're reaching the age of digital, and crappy mobile games with more re-skins than I can count on both hands.
I hope every console these greedy pigs own goes kaput.

It was just a silly idea, especially when you have things like the internet where one can develop and publish a game and update it as needed with great ease, and you can download complete libraries of retro games in a matter of minutes.
Im not sure what the end game was with this, but it was a failure before it even failed.

It's sad. I mean, the Arduboy KickStarter had a sour decline but even that is starting to pick back up, people are giving good reports about the Arduby they had received, and the final product looks so much better.
I might give the Arduboy Game Card another chance, though it's still ridiculous to delay shipments for months on end. At least it isn't fake like the Chameleon.
