Mobile Site Revamped!

Well it wasn't easy, but I thought it was finally time to spruce up the mobile version of the site, which is being used more and more frequently.

Here are some of the major changes:
- main menu now has addition buttons for articles, link, and system review (thanks Mark!). Yes, the articles are all there. I'm trying to mirror as much of the content of the regular site as possible.
- Instead of using large, bold font I was using for mobile review text, I'm using the same text style I use for the normal site. It greatly reduces that "wall of text" look and looks more attractive.
- Reduced the number of clunky navigational buttons. It used to be that the first thing you saw on a given page was a big "main menu" button. I really don't think it's needed since people have a back button. Instead I relocated that button to the bottom. I also organized the system reviews on their own page so don't need to clutter the system pages with a "system review" button.
- Organized the console system alphabetically instead of by age, making them easier to find.

Let me know what you think! I'm always looking to improve so feel free to point out bad links, missing pictures, and things that just don't look right.

Thanks!
VGC

Sorry, but the only thing I've noticed is that I have to sign in now every time. That's even when I click the "remember me" button. Remember me dang it.

I personally really liked the chronological order, maybe some sort of option would be a nice middle ground.

Loving the revamp I always use the mobile site and didn't know about all those articles !

Just read best and worst console names, a very fun read.

Look forward to more articles, in the mean time I've got some catching up to do !

Keep up the great work Critic and thank you !

I made a change that should improve navigation on the mobile site.
When you click the mobile banner at the top it will return you to the main screen.

Still looking into some forum-related issues.

Made another addition to the mobile site. There is now an Icon button on the main page which lets you view all the icon page descriptions and statistics in mobile mode! Let me know if you have any problems.

I would say that's the finishing touch but my friend Chris said I need to incorporate the coming attractions section into the mobile site, so that will probably be next.

As usual, open to suggestions. Let me know if you use the mobile site, and if you like it or not.

Anybody else want to chime in if the consoles on the mobile site should be chronological or alphabetical? I want to get a little more feedback before I revert back to how it was. It would be good to give the user the option, but not sure how that would work.

And yes, I can add the "if you enjoyed this" links to the mobile section. Stay tuned.

Thanks for the feedback! People really do use the mobile site apparently.

I haven't touched the desktop site in years. Always use the mobile site ever since I got an iPhone.

I think it'd be cool if the consoles were by generation, either chronological or alphabetical within that grouping.

I use the mobile site about 95% of the time. Once in a while I'll go to the full site on my laptop.

I'm enjoying the mobile site updates - keep up the great work!
