Best Open World Fantasy RPG?
From giants like Skyrim and Dragon Age, to lesser known gems like Kingdoms of Amalur and Dragon's Dogma, we haven't exactly had a shortage of open world fantasy RPGs lately. Which one is your favorite?

Morrowind (2002) for PC - It wasn't just the epic story and open world, but the fantastic modder community that turned this game into a cultural phenomenon within the gaming community.
This was close to the time when I realized that we had reached an age where one game could easily become a person's entire hobby... for years even. I'm sure earlier games had a similar effect but something that can draw you in so deeply that has an endless supply of content and customizability is also something that takes playing a video game to a whole other level... and that's well before the widespread adoption of virtual reality.
It might be the reason in coming years we see fewer and fewer people such as those here who have a broad general knowledge of gaming to contribute and discuss, but that's another topic perhaps.

Fallout New Vegas
The factions were realistic, enjoyable and all flawed in one way or another.
Everyone can die. No one is safe. This immortal NPC/companion garbage in FO4 is lame.
NPC's actually move around the map and engage each other. My favorite thing to do is to get some Raiders to chase me to an NCR post and then hide while they fight it out.
For awhile I debated with myself about liking 3 or New Vegas better. I liked the companions better on 3 as well as being able to sell slaves, but otherwise I think New Vegas is better all around. I think I liked the radio better on 3 too.
