Hey All,

My two fave holidays of the year are number one Christmas and number two Halloween. I want games I can play in my two fave months of the year, October and December. Esp with my kids.

I recently acquired The Grinch on the Dreamcast and just ordered the Saturn's Christmas Nights Into Dreams. I am particularly excited about the latter. December will be fun leading up to the big day!

However regarding Halloween, I am perplexed. I don't want just a scary game, but one where Halloween is the central theme. I would luv to get Halloween on the 2600, but at around $500 no thanks.

Do you all know of any good console games ( no pc or portables) where Halloween is the central theme?

Thanks!

Have you ever tried Costume Quest?

I think it would be right up your alley.

Costume Quest is a role-playing video game developed by Double Fine Productions and published by THQ. In the game, the player controls a child that is trick-or-treating with their twin on Halloween night when they encounter a monster that kidnaps the sibling. The player must travel around the local neighborhood collecting items for their costume, candy and fellow children as companions in order to face the monster and rescue the sibling. The costume aspects are used in battle segments, where the player character and companions are transformed into the monsters and creatures they are dressed as to fight other monsters. The sequel, Costume Quest 2, was released in 2014.

And there's a sequel.

It's a DL game for PS3 and 360

I know it isn't thought of as a good game but Friday the 13th for the NES is a game I tend to have fun with. If you go into it with the mindset that it isn't an amazing game you can actually have quite a bit of fun with it.

Rev I have Friday The 13th on the nes. Yes it got pretty low grades but I also enjoy the heck out of it! Finding which cabin Jason is in always raises my blood pressure. A much better game than peeps give it credit for in my opinion, a lot of fun.
