Power-Up Feature Disabled

I've decided to do away with the new power-up feature and refund people their money.
As it turns out, when the site becomes slow (as it has lately) the ad-control mechanism just doesn't work. Perhaps the mechanism is contributing to that. Instead of coming up with some kind of elaborate workaround I've decided to nip it in the bud and call it a day.
I want to thank the people who did participate - you are true fans!

Dave, I don't know if you've refunded my 10 bucks, but if you haven't yet, please just keep it. I didn't sign up for ad-free navigating, I signed up to support this wonderful site.

Thanks buddy! I meant to refund everybody but I think you may have fallen through the cracks. Not intentional!

I agree. I got a refund, but I use ad-block, so I don't care either way. It was just to support the site.

You should just throw up a PayPal donate button. As most in here have said (myself included), adblock apps are used as it is anyways. Seems like enough people would like to support the site that the use of a donate button is warranted.
