Because its T rated rival, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End totally outsold Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC/Xbox One/Xbox 360 on its first week launch, and even Tomb Raider (2013) which had a stronger first week launch if you combine sales on PS3/PS4/Xbox One/Xbox 360/PC, still under performed in comparison to Uncharted 4.
Here is the week 1 sales of Tomb Raider (2013) vs Uncharted 4.
1,477,145 vs 2,336,971
Note: This is from vgchartz.com, who are not 100% accurate, but it does prove my point that the critic is 100% right that the M ratings of the newer Tomb Raider games did hurt the potential sales of a once T rated only series.
Agree/Disagree with this, I would like to here peoples thoughts on this?
Looks like it time for the Tomb Raider series to go back to being a T rated series again?

I agree 100%. Tomb Raider was born as a T game and should remain that way! I am tired of publishers pushing the envelope on games that were pretty much fun innocence. Turning a classic T rated series into something really dark is not what we need!

Turns out I am not alone on this. I do think the sales figures prove that buckets of blood/guts/F-bombs does not always equal better sale figures, and one of the reasons Uncharted 4: A Thief's End sold better was because it stayed as a T rated property like it was when the series first started in 2007.
