I'm looking to curb my interns usage and subscribe to some magazines in lieu of staring at my phone so much (aside from some visits to a few select sites such as this one). What is the best magazine out there for general gaming news, previews and reviews on console games? I don't play on PC. I used to subscribe to Game Informer and occasionally read EGM and GamePro but I don't know if any but Game Informer still exist, and further, if Game Informer is still worth reading.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

EGM still exists, though I am not sure how reliable their publishing schedule is. Some newsstands carry it but you might be best off subscribing. Gamepro is long gone, as is Nintendo Power. Game Informer is all right. Plenty of game previews, long-winded game reviews and at least one to two interesting interviews with industry people each month. I'd recommend Game Informer for the price.
