The Video Game Critic

I was playing Zillion II just now and having a really good game. You know how your first game is always your best? I was rolling.

But then my cat Claire started getting curious and crawling through my video game wires. That makes me nervous. I remembered there was a pause button on the Sega Master System, so I hit that and kicked Claire out of the room.

I sit back down and suddenly the screen goes black. Turns out my toe hit the system's power button (it was sitting on the floor). I couldn't decide if I was more mad at Claire or at Sega for putting the button there.

Do you have stories where you had a good game derailed by some distraction?

Strike three in The Show, a game I really need to concentrate in, when the wife distracts me for some reason or another.

Dave you need to get rid of the cat and get a low energy dog. A Bulldog perhaps!
