The Video Game Critic

One day soon I'm going to have to update my forum software which may cause some outages and changes to the site's appearance. It's possible the site will temporarily revert to a generic "default" look and I'll have to apply changes to restore it to that old VGC style. I'm procrastinating because I'm nervous about breaking things.

It's ok as long as it doesn't mess up my account or hurt forum functionality.

All these system updates are driving me crazy! /sarcasm/

It shouldn't mess up any accounts and it will improve the forum functionality.

I will probably tackle this upgrade this week, so you may notice some outages or changes to the appearance of the forums.

If you noticed a disruption today it was me trying to update the forum software.
Not only did I fail miserably but almost gave myself a heart attack because I thought the forums were DOA.
At least I have good backups.
I'm going to forgo this upgrade until the RPG Critic can stop by and take a look at this.

Well the forums were down when I got home today, clearly a side affect of me messing around with the forum software the other day. I'm hoping they stay up now, but lets keep an eye out for abnormalities.
