This is not an endorsement. I know nothing about this other that what I read, and we all remember the Coleco Chameleon.

This is another kickstarter retro device. Like the Retron 5, its primarily for those of us that own physical retro games. Its modular, with units listed on the page including NES, SNES, MegaDrive, 32x, Sega SMS (with a power base converter), PC-Engine, TG-16, Atari 2600, PS1, PC-Engine CD, Sega CD. The site says they use a hybrid of hardward FPGA and software emulation.

Things like the Atari 2600 and TG-16 caught my eye.

Just something to keep your eye on where to spend your gaming dollars this year.

Man, if that did all that it promises, it would be a game changer. I would get one in a second.

If there was a ColecoVision option, I'd jump right on it!

In the same vein, Retro-Bit's "Super Retro Trio" (NES/SNES/Megadrive) is getting an HDMI update. It will certainly be far less than this modular system, but Retro-Bit's reputation took a bit of a hit with the generally poorly reviewed Retro Bit Generations released this holiday season (and a portable version coming this summer).
