Hey, Dave. I just got a great idea. Since most of us here are big music fans, why not have a music section of the forums? Like, the other day, a song I posted that I wrote was not posted. I am not sure if this is because of the drug-related lyrics or because it does not pertain to gaming. We could really use a thread called "off-topic". Does anyone agree with me?

I can't say I agree with you there K.  I get the feeling that I am one of the very few people out there who has absolutely zero interest in music.  I don't go out of my way to avoid music but I haven't bought a CD in years and only listen to NPR on the radio.  Besides, this is a video game site and to add music would only, in my opinion, add clutter. But I guess I could just ignore that section were it actually to exist.

Um...., yeah. I think most of us are music fans here. Also, wtf is NPR? News Press Releases, Maybe?

Thanks for the opinion, though.

Um...thanks for the condescending tone.  NPR is National Public Radio; like PBS only with no picture.  I'm sure there are others on this site old enough to know what it is.

NPR stands for National Public Radio; it's a liberal talk radio station. I love music too Koopa, but I don't see these forums as the best place to discuss it. I doubt there are enough people here that like the same kind of music to have a music forum. It's a video game site, so we're guaranteed to find game lovers, but not so much on music lovers. You'd be better off talking about it with friends.

Maybe since some of us read books, Dave could put up a literature forum?  Also, I think a forum on functional analysis would be useful too, since I'm going to write my thesis on that.

I know what PBS is, and I'm 16 (and not even American).

As for an off-topic forum...meh. I come here to talk about games.

..What we really need is a Paleontology section to discuss new dinosaur finds and a link to Astronomy sites....see how out of had this could get Koopa? A VidGame site should only be about Vidgames and anything from other media that pertains to them (like the song PAC MAN FEVER)...I mentioned a long time ago, the music video for Gorillaz' DARE had a young memember of the band, and it showed an Atari VCS and Atari 400 computer. I even suggested poetry, but
Dey don't care about broken hearts
All they want is 360 parts!

...do what I do, e-mail freinds. Talk your head off about anything. Hey, I watch music videos every morning, E me sometime! Nice Bon Jovi reference BTW....

But paul I thought we weren't supposed to attack peoples opinions here?  I think it was you who said something about it was ruining the site.
