I'm still trying to forget the torment tales of phantasia inflicted on me thank you very much. I wouldn't mind namco so much if they didn't do that"if this doesn't sell 50,000 copies we wont make games on X system".  As if their support matters above everyone else.

Dragon quest 9-DS

Most popular RPG franchise ever in japan meets most popular handheld ever in japan.  Will it be great or a huge let down?  To early to tell, but regardless it will sell, a lot.

Dragon quest wii

All signs point to this being to this being more on rails than a typical dragon quest game.  Which is great for people who want to get into dragon quest but don't want to have there eyes bleed from staring at the tv for 70 hours.

Dragon quest joker DS

Joker is the next instalment of the long running pokemon style dragon quest games.  It's coming out in japan very soon, if it hits the u.s remains to be seen.

Earth Defense force X-360

One of the games I am most looking forward too.  EDF puts you in the boots of a one man army who has to stop giant ants, space ships and huge robots.  This one can't come out soon enough.

Japanese edition

Necro Nesia-wii

Necro here is still on for a U.s release, if that holds true is hard to say.  It's pretty clear the game looks like a 2001 ps2/cube game.  And it sold roughly 1000 copies at launch with the wii in japan.  So I wouldn't hold your breath for this one.

No one should be holding there breath for Necro Nesia anyway. 1up completely bashed it in a preview, and while they are not the most reliable source around, they definitely make a strong case against buying it. It does look like crap, too.

Out of all those titles coming out I only want Blue Dragon and maybe I'll rent Bullet Witch because the magic looks awsome.

You can't base the entire Tales series off the GBA port of Phantasia. Pretty much everyone agrees that the game was crap because the battles were incredibly slow. The localization was poor too, what with the voices and the bad translation. Personally, I still found a bit of enjoyment in it, but I'm a big Tales fan.

Pretty much every game post Destiny 1, excluding maybe Legendia, has been speedy and quite enjoyable.

Symphonia sucked as well in my opinion, legendia and abyss looked like more of the same only with a more limiting battle system since it looked like you lost an axis.  If you like those sort of "action" rpgs great.  But I found them corny boring and linear.

I'm pretty psyched about Earth Defense Force as well.  Watched it at E3 and had the horrible sinking feeling it wouldn't come out in the West.  Here's hoping for a European release or a region free US/Asian release.  That game looks seriously awesome.  Unlike Bullet Witch which looks like an XBox game.

Psp edition

Ratchet and clank size matter

Is a cute name enough to make ratchet and clank worth visiting a fifth time in as many years?  Most likely, these were always the best platformers the ps2 had and I look forward to seeing how the psp incarnation turns out.

After burner

A portable after burner, what's not to love?  After burner is one of sega least used franchises so they have had the least amount of chances to ruin it.  Lets hope sega doesn't pull a sonic (and PSO and well everythign else) on this one.
Cube

A very trippy looking puzzle game, not sure how it plays really.  But hey it's stylish and who doesn't love boxes?

Rainbow six vegas

This one is a looker to be sure, but can ubisoft finally beat the beast that is the psp analog nub?  I know I hope so, as lofty a dream as that may seem.

Prince of persia crossed swords wii

Sorry for the shot, they all had this stupid thick black border around them.  Sadly the game doesn't look any better when the shot is larger.  This porting old crap to the wii stuff needs to stop now.  It just started but it needs to stop.  They need to focus on making games that were you know made to be played on it, not port games and just shove an awkward control setup.

Medal of honor vanguard wii (shown), ps2

I swear it's like EA wasn't even trying to make it look like a decent game.  The wii is a great deal stronger than the ps2 and going on that train of thought wii games shouldn't look like third rate ps2 games.  These last two examples are great examples of lazy developers in action.

Medal of honor air born (360, ps3)

Unlike it's wii cousin this one seems to have actual effort backing it.  Although from the screens I've seen it's got a heavy "been there done that" feel to it.  I'm hoping they can shape up ebfore release, even if they don't I'm sure it will make a solid rental.

Command and Conquer 3 360 (shown), pc

I'm a huge fan of RTS's so I will be keeping an eye on this one.  It looks quite impressive, but I only wish they would release some sort of mouse for the 360 to really help this genre.  Regardless fans of the genre should keep an eye out for this one.

All of the Tales games except Abyss have only two axis'- X (left/right) and Y (up/down). Hell, even in Abyss you can't attack while running around in the field.

Hotel dusk (ds)

I'm a huge fan of detecitve games and this one looks like a winner.  With it's interesting art style and hopefully some solid detcitve work this one could be as good as Phoenix wright.

Cacom Vs. snk card fighter clash (ds)

Anyone who played the neo geo pocket card fighter would know this is something to get excited about.  Re-done art and some more cards will ensure old fans picking this one up.  Honestly wi-fi multi alone makes this worth buying.

Pokemon diamond (ds)

Do kids still care about pokemon?  They must because nitnendo sure makes a ton of these games.  It looks like they ripped the sprites right out of the GBA.  But I doubt the kids will really care as long as they add a whole mess of new monsters.

Indiana jones (ps3, 360)

I'm not really sure how this one will turn out.  It could easily go any which way.  But the screens and videos I've seen look good.  And indy kicks ass, so keep your fingers crossed.
