According to EBgames, it's being released in 3 days. Its close to its release day so I wouldn't expect any delays.

But Metal Slug Anthology for Playstation 2 is coming out on the 19th. That's the version I'm probably gonna get. According to the previews for Metal Slug for the Wii, they are making it so you have to shake the controller to throw the grenade. Comeon Nintendo, you don't need to add motion sensitivity to every game. This game doesn't need it, and shaking the control will get annoying quick. But regardless of what system you get it for (Its also coming on the PSP!) this is one hell of deal you can't miss. All 7 of the main Metal Slug games on one disc for 40 bucks is a hell of deal considering these games go for hundreds a piece on the Neo Geo. It would be even better if the Neo Geo Pocket Color games are included as unlockables!
There doesn't seem to be anymore interesting games coming out this month, except for maybe Far Cry which comes out on tommorrow. All the other games big games (super smash Bros, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy) are supposed to becoming out next year, but knowing Nintendo's record, I expect them to get delayed.

There are 6 different control schemes in the Wii version; I'm sure there is at least one that will be pleasing to whoever plays it. Still, I could see shaking the remote to throw a grenade annoying, but it's not a game breaker.

Maybe I don't know what you mean by "decent arcade stick", but I think the classic controller is uber-decent, and I think the nunchuck is decent as well. At this point, I use the classic controller ahead of even the wireless Wavebird I have for my gamecube.
I don't think they are cumbersome in the least, and they would serve that purpose exceptionally.

I like the Wii controllers as well, but I assumed he meant an actual arcade stick. At any rate, I'm sure someone will release one soon, since it seems as though it is very easy to create controller attachments.
