Thanks guys. I was actually able to figure these out and write the reviews.

Another winter game I needed to review was Pengo for the Atari 5200. I think the reason I had never reviewed it before was because it doesn't work on my old 5200 multicart. I checked Ebay for the real cart and was surprised that you can still get a new copy (in the box) for fairly cheap (about $30). There's something about getting a brand spanking new Atari cartridge in the mail - with a full-color manual no less.

Currently reviewing Steel Harbinger, but can someone please tell me where the freaking yellow card is in level one??

Hey, that's great. I haven't had that new-Atari-game-in-the-mail feeling in a long time -- maybe since we got GORF and Jedi Arena as part of the game-of-the-month club (like the Columbia House record club). And Atari 5200 boxes often looked very nice, with strong cardboard and bright print quality, so they felt even more special than VCS games. I wish I still had my old copies of some of those games, now long gone.

Oh, man, I remember getting stuck on that too! I wish I could recall the solution, though I think it was just a matter of double-checking everything. I don't think the game is ever again as obtuse as in that first level; maybe that's why it's not better-known, since a lot of people probably gave up in frustration.

Normally I can find a query Google to answer any specific video game questions, but if the results are any indication, nobody has ever finished the first stage of Steel Harbinger.

Too bad too, because I really enjoyed the cut-scenes with the half-naked chick! More please!

I have! And this guy did too:

I make no assurances as to the quality of the video or its commentary, but that should show you where to find the yellow card.

Just stumbled upon a snow mobile racer for the switch on ebay.
Review seems lukewarm.

Hey, do you think you'll ever end up reviewing Steel Harbinger? We are in the snow season once again, after all!

I was just reminded of the game by this prototype footage -- as you can see, the protagonist originally had totally different proportions:

Coming right up! I think I wrote it last year - just need to touch it up a bit.

I don't know why I answer this question, because you never do anything with my answers for your lists. However, have you thought of including 'Cannon Fodder' as a winter game? You already reviewed it and it has some very snowy sections in it!
