I have played Zelda: TP for about 12 hours. The initial stages were sort of a drag, but getting Epona right off the bat kicked major ass. I didn't really enjoy the first temple, but the second temple made me addicted to the game. This is the first game in a while that I have been really addicited to. I can't wait to get free time and sink my teeth into everyday.
The complaints about no voice over work and lack of orchestral music are pretty lame. I don't mind reading the text and the music is still easy on the ears.
The Wii remote and nunchuck combination is fantastic and I really couldn't imagine going back to the gamecube controller. Aiming with the Bow and Slingshot is fantastic and sword fights are better than ever.
Just exploring the world is fun and finding heart pieces and other items is already starting to distract me from the main quest. Games like Okami, and Beyond Good and Evil try to copy this formula, but Zelda has truly perfected it better than any other.
While its not revolutionary, it is one of the best action adventure games I have ever played. Its basically a love letter to every Zelda fan out there. There are nods to past games everywhere and any fan of Ocarina of Time will instantly fall in love with this game. The best thing about all of this is that this is basically a gamecube game...I cannot wait for Nintendo to build a Zelda game that will tap into all of the Wii's resources.
