Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I myself didn't receive any gifts, as I live alone and don't celebrate (although I had several freinds "gift" me through the mail last year!), but I was wondering (especially YOU, VGC!) what y'all got for Xmas? Systems, games, a Ms. Pac-Man coin-op or Space Invaders sweater?
Any big surprises or dissapointments (like the system you hoped for being sold out)?

Hope it was what you wanted!

I got Metal Slug Anthology for Wii. The default Wii-Mote control scheme is fine, except you have to kind of hit the remote to throw a grenade. I end up using the the gamecube controller usually. I haven't messed with the other control schemes yet. My mother got Happy Feet for her DS.

I got 2 Atari Flashback 2s, a Neo-Geo Pocket Color, Yoshi's Island 2, Mario Hoops, Mario Strikers, some Superman game, Sonic Rush, some money from my brother for the specific purpose of buying a Wii, some money with which to purchase some stuff from atariage, and a Galaga Flight-school T-shirt..  I got a bunch of other stuff, but I doubt it would interest other people here.
By the way Alienblue, sorry I haven't written in awhile, but Christmas has been busy.  Merry Christmas.  Merry Christmas to everyone here for that matter.  Hope it finds you all well and happy.

Living alone and not celebrating the holidays? What a depressing response. Did you, at least attend any X-mas parties?

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (DS), Elebits (Wii), Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Wii), Super Princess Peach (DS), and Zelda: Link to the Past (GBA port). Of these I'm already having a blast with Elebits; throwing furniture is awesome. Super Princess Peach is great; I actually like it more than the new Yoshi's Island and as much as the New Mario so far. I'm 4 bosses into Castlevania, and it is exactly what I wanted out of it. I haven't played Trauma Center yet, and I just started Zelda (I'm one of the few that has never played this game).

I got Guitar Hero, but was disappointing was I got a different guitar controller for it. It's wireless, takes 4 "AA" batteries, and it takes forever for the tilt sensor to work with the star power. And I got Gears of War.

My older brother purchased for me all three of the Burger King games... that alone made my Christmas. Despite what anybody says, I'm not going to stop playing these games... and having played them for hours on end today, I can say that this will hold true. I also got Mario vs DK 2 for DS, and already I've passed the first four floors. Madly addicting game.

Here's what I received this year...

DS - Mario Kart

PS2 - Guitar Hero II, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner

Wii - Madden 07, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Metal Slug Anthology, Trauma Center and a nunchuck attachment.

This was actually a good year in terms of videogames for me...between my parents, girlfriend and brother I made out rather well.

Spider-Man 2 for the GC and Castlevania Double Pak for the GBA.

And if we're going into gaming-related gifts we gave, I got Bust-a-Move Millennium for the GBC for my mother.
