Rather unusual considering that Crash was a rival to Sonic during the PS1 vs Sega Saturn years, also considering that Sega is huge on the Switch this is not surprising. And even though the cart has the Japanese version baked in the US/Brasil/EU/Asia versions this version can be a separate code with later patches baked in or just the other versions put with a new cart sticker and packaging! Man, because Sega is publishing the Japanese version maybe a Sonic collaboration/Amiibo support with Sonic can happen!

The part about Sonic being on Nintnedo is not unusual sense the GameCube/GBA days post Sega leaving. The part of Sega publishing Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy in Japan is more ironic as Crash was a long time PS1 exclusive for the original trilogy rivaled Nintendo and Sega in the 90s. Now in the late 2010s things have changed big time, not only is the Nintendo Switch gotten the original Crash trilogy, but Sega in Japan is publishing the Switch version after losing the console wars to Sony PlayStation is ironic and funny at the same time.

But then again Nintendo said Night Trap would never hit Nintendo, now it on Nintendo people would never expect that in a million years back then!
